Festival Details

Festival Format

Teams will be divided in to groups of between 8 to 12 teams. Each team will play between 3 & 6 matches on both the Saturday & Sunday. Each team will then play every team in their group on a round robin basis during the weekend. Once the round robin is complete, teams depending on their final league position will then progress in to the knockout stages of the cup and plate.

The festival will be operated under the guidance of a festival director.

Festival age groups are as follows:

Age groups for the Butlins festival in June are as follows:
Ladies Open Age
Girls Under 11/12/13/14/15/16

Age groups for the Butlins, We Love the 70's October festival are as follows:
Ladies Open Age - All persons must be 18+ on this break

PLEASE NOTE THE FESTIVAL IS RESIDENTIAL

The festivals are strictly residential. All teams must provide a qualified umpire. (SCI Sports may be able to provide umpires at an extra charge for the weekend) Any teams without an umpire may be refused entry in to the festival.

Team Bond Payment

Each team is required to pay a team bond deposit of £50 per team. This will be returned to each team once they have completed all there matches for the weekend as well as their umpiring duties.

Shuttle Bus Service At Great Yarmouth Festival

SCI Sports is introducing a new shuttle bus service to the Netball Courts at our Great Yarmouth Netball Weekend for 2012. This can be booked in advance of the festival at a cost of £5 per person for the weekend.

Umpires

All umpires are to be A, B or C Award Umpires.
