12th Annual SCI Sports Skegness Netball Festival

Our Skegness Netball tournament is for Ladies Open Age Teams & offers a first class netball festival experience, with prices from just £115pp for the weekend. Our 11th festival at Skegness in 2025 is fully booked with 62 Teams. (Be sure to Book Early for 2026 as this event grows year upon year). Our adult netball weekends can attract up to 60+ teams per weekend so you can be sure of plenty of netball for the weekend - plus a superb variety of entertainment at the Golden Palm Resort including excellent entertainment on Friday & Saturday Night - plus live bands and more besides.

The 2026 SCI Sports Adults Netball Weekend at Skegness will be staged at the Skegness Academy just 10 minutes drive from Golden Palm Resort. At the School there are 7 marked outdoor netball courts for the weekend. The Festival also offers catering facilities, toilets, changing rooms & first aid.

Golden Palm Resort - All Caravans have bedroom heating

The Golden Palm Resort is a very Friendly Family Run Holiday Park that goes just that little bit further to give you that extra touch to your weekend. Golden Palm Resort is about 10 minutes from the netball courts and offers a range of caravans to suit everyone's tastes and budgets for the weekend. A warm welcome awaits you at the Golden Palm Resort, the East Coast's number 1 choice for the complete self-catering family holiday. Everything here at this 4 star graded complex is tailored to make your weekend both enjoyable and memorable.

Accommodation at the Golden Palm Resort is a fleet of caravans which are available in 4, 5, 6 & 8 berths. All caravans are equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, heating in the lounge area, colour TV, either 2 or 3 bedrooms, and a bathroom. There is a choice of 3 grades of caravans for the weekend - Bronze Heated, Silver or Gold so there is a choice of accommodation for everyone.

This holiday park offers a Superb Heated Indoor Fun Pool with hair raising water slides for all the family. Trained Life Guards are on duty to ensure your safety at all times. The resort is also home to one of the East Coast's Premier Entertainment Venues - Club Tropicana. There is always something special going on at the spectacular Club Tropicana , You'll love it! Dancing to live bands, listening to great singers and laughing with very funny comedians. With high tech lighting and a superb sound system which is the envy of the East Coast, the entertainment is presented in a manner only equalled by stage shows in the West End. The seating is tiered to give a great view of the stage wherever you sit in this 2,000 seater venue. So you will never miss any of the amazing entertainment on offer.

Activites

Why not check out the Water Themed Crazy Golf, or enjoy a drink or meal in the newly refurbished JW's Bar & Restaurant Pub. Then there is the Golden Palm Amusement arcade with the very latest in video technology. In terms of feeding the team - there are meals available in the JW's Pub, & numerous take-aways including Chinese, Fish & Chips and Pizza, plus there is a shop on site for all your conveniences.

NETBALL TOURNAMENT

The festival is played on Saturday & Sunday on Outdoor Netball Courts. Games are played between 9am - 5pm on both days, expect to spend half a day at the courts each day & the other half a day enjoying the facilities on resort. Each team can expect to play 5 to 8 games per day on both days.Length of games varies depending on number of matches played, plus there are Winners & Runners-Up trophies in each section. Teams are divided into Cup & Plate formats on the Sunday to create a level playing field.
Keep up to date with all the Scores with the SCI Score Centre app - This was a great introduction to our festivals in 2023 and we will continue this into 2026.

ACCOMMODATION CARAVANS

BRONZE CARAVANS
Bronze caravans are 10 foot wide as standard and come with gas/electric fire in lounge area. There’s free gas and electricity, free bed linen, bathroom, colour TV and fully fitted kitchen with microwave. NB: Bronze caravans have bedroom heating.
SILVER CARAVANS
Silver caravans are newer models, 12 foot wide and come with gas/electric fire in lounge area, free gas and electricity, double glazing, free bed linen, bathroom, colour TV and fully fitted kitchen with microwave. NB: Silver caravans have bedroom heating.
GOLD CARAVANS
Gold Caravans are the very latest caravans and top of the range, full central heating and double glazing as well. 12 foot wide and come with gas/electric fire in lounge area, free gas and electricity, double glazing, free bed linen, bathroom, colour TV and fully fitted kitchen with microwave.
NB: All caravans come with bathroom, 2 or 3 bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery, dining area, lounge with colour tv, bed linen & FREE GAS & ELECTRICITY.

Golden Anchor Holiday Park

We have a few caravans for the weekend at Golden Anchor Holiday Park which is a 5 minute walk from the Golden Palm Resort - All caravans at Golden Anchor Holiday Park share the facilities at Golden Palm Resort for the weekend.

ENTERTAINMENT

There is always something going on in the Club Tropicana with visiting cabarets, bands & shows till the early hours.

Four Live Bands appearing throughout the weekend - Late Night Venue Friday & Saturday Night.
