PLEASE NOTE THE FESTIVALS ARE ALL RESIDENTIAL

The festivals are strictly residential. All teams must provide a qualified umpire. (SCI Sports may be able to provide umpires at an extra charge for the weekend to a limited number of teams only at each event. Please enquire when booking if you require an umpire) Any teams without an umpire may be refused entry in to the festival. All persons wanting to attend the weekend to watch or play netball must book there accommodation through SCI Sports,

UMPIRES

All umpires are to be A, B or C Award. If you would like SCI Sports to supply an umpire this may be possible at a cost of £105 per team for the weekend. Umpire availability is available on a first come first served basis, and payment for umpires must be received with your final balance 8 weeks prior to the event. SCI can only supply a certain amont of umpires, clubs requesting 3 or more umpires will need to bring some of there own if having more than 3 teams in the tournament.

CELEBRITY PRESENTATIONS

All trophies are presented either at the court side at the end of the festival normally around 4 or 5pm on the Sunday, or in a venue on the Holiday Park where our celebrity guest will be on hand to present the medals and trophies at all Junior Netball Weekends. There are medals for all teams in the final of each age group, plus a cup to keep for the winning team. All Junior Teams receive Participation medals for attending as well. Celebrity Guests so far in 2022 & 2023 include England Legends Pamela Cookey & Eboni Usoro-Brown, Nat Panagarry, Karen Greig. Who will you meet at the SCI Sports Celebrity Presentations in 2024?

INSURANCE

SCI Sports recommends that each member of your party takes out the appropriate playing & holiday insurance for any festival you may attend. SCI Sports cannot be held responsible if the tournament is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Teams will still be able to use all the facilities for the weekend.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. All teams are required to complete an SCI Sports booking form for their chosen festival. The booking form is to be completed and returned to SCI Sports with a non-refundable deposit of £40 per person . Each team is also required to return the team entry fee of £50 per team with the SCI Sports booking form at the time of booking. All accommodation consists of 1 double bed - please call to discuss (01305 768555).
2. Once you have made a booking with SCI Sports for your chosen event, you will be notified in writing of your outstanding balance for the weekend which is due 10 weeks prior to the festival.
3. If you need to cancel your booking more than 10 weeks prior to the festival then any deposits & team entry fee’s you have paid will be forfeited in full. Any cancellations received within 10 weeks of the festival will be liable for the full amount invoiced/ or will forfeit the full balance that they have already paid.
4. Any teams that require an umpire for an event are required to submit a payment of £105 per team for the weekend to cover umpire costs. This cannot be arranged at the weekend itself.
5. All teams are required to abide by the Holiday Parks standard terms and conditions in relation to excessive noise & alcohol.
6. All teams must complete the SCI Sports Group Accommodation Forms & return them to SCI Sports at least 10 weeks prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in your booking being cancelled, & any monies paid will be forfeited in full.
7. If you enter two teams or more then you must supply a minimum of one umpire per two teams you wish to enter, SCI cannot supply 3 umpires for 3 teams for example.
8. Fancy dress is not allowed on any Butlins Resort (Minehead, Skegness & Bognor Regis) in 2024.
9. No refunds will be given if the tournament is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Teams will still be able to enjoy there weekends and will be able to use the facilities.
10. All persons wanting to attend the weekends to watch or play netball must book there accommodation through SCI Sports, NO WRISTBANDS WILL BE SOLD SEPARATELY.

12. All of the resorts will do there best to group teams together on the resorts, however this is not always possible and SCI offers no guarantee's in this respect at any resort.
13. There must be an adult over the age of 21 listed for each unit of accommodation booked for the festivals (school teams - please call to discuss) You will need to submit a separate email and contact details for the lead adult in each unit of accommodation.
14. SCI Sports is a third party when organising SCI Sports Butlins Netball Festivals, SCI books accommodation for your group at Butlins, however SCI has no control over the location of accommodation on Butlins resorts. Accommodation is allocated by Butlins. SCI also does not have access to the Butlins booking systems so if you do not receive the email confirmation from Butlins for your booking, SCI will assist where possible but cannot guarantee you will receive the booking confirmation or access the App at Butlins.
